Glendale Youth Orchestra presents "An American in Paris"

The Glendale Youth Orchestra lead by Music Director & Conductor Henry Shin will perform the 34th Season Finale concert "An American in Paris" featuring Mozart: "Magic Flute Overature"; Prokofiev: "Romeo & Juliet"; Mascagni: Intermezzo from Cavaliera Rusticana & Gershwin: "An American In Paris" as well as the featuring the 2023 Concerto Winners Lalo: Symphonie Espagnole Madeline Son (15; Polytechinc School), violin; Wieniawski: Violin Concerto, Valerie Chen(16), violin. The Glendale Youth Orchestra (GYO) is one of Los Angeles Counties leading youth orchestras. Our mission is based on the belief that our young people have a better chance of succeeding in their world if they appreciate and participate in its rich artistic and cultural traditions. GYO provides young musicians in grades 6-12 from all over L.A. County with a unique opportunity to play classical music.
